Space Invaders vs. Gorf

As far as lit up goes, I can see the Gorf already in Phet's house. SI is the classic choice, for certain. I can see Phet choosing Gorf here, for some reason.

Go with the Gorf Shawn.. it has better play value compared to SI. Yes SI is an awesome looking game, but you can have that game as well as a few others in Gorf. Besides, your next party you can have GorfChampion school you on your Gorf!

Price seems a little bit high for the SI (unless it's a really nice one) otherwise I would say to get it over Gorf. I'd bet if you looked around you'd find one cheaper pretty quickly.

Jeez so many negatives on Gorf in this thread...

Phet, I would pick up both games, even if you have to pimp yourself out for a week to pay for em both.

I have both games, SI was my first buy, followed by Gorf a month later; back in early '98.

SI only gets played once in a while, but I'm glad I own one. Its a must have.

Gorf gets played a lot more at my parties but I think people shy away from BOTH games because they are hard as hell.

Someone said Gorf gets boring. What? Haha that's funny. Its not boring, you'll be sweating and your heart will be pounding trying to improve your scores.

If you really can only buy one get the Gorf, the gameplay, sounds, and smart-ass robot talking to you cannot be beat.

Is there supposed to be a light fixture down there? I hope so cuz I'm putting one in. Rich, you have any of the screened CP's left? I need one.

yes. i don't know what kind of bulb it takes, but gorf looks great with the bottom marquee lit up.
