I tried to find other video games from Taito starting with Space Invaders from 1978 and onward.
But besides Pong, the only information online that I found about other games from Taito were before 1978, which was that genre of mechanical arcade games, which were seperate from pinball machines.
One of these games made a cameo appearance in one of the early "Jaws" movies.
It was called Shark Attack.
I am not sure if this game was real, made by Taito, or just a prop constructed for the film.
But you would think that the success of Space Invaders would have motivated Taito executives and designers to come up with at least one more game that was popular after 1978, because the rise in popularity of games like Space Invaders was just beginning.
I incorrectly assumed for a long time that Galaxian was Taito's official sequel to Space Invaders.
But it was made by Namco.
