Guys, I'm pretty ignorant on Black and White games. I sold a Space Invaders that was fully working with a great picture. After delivery, the customer is getting neck glow but no pictures. Checked fuses, connections, adjustments, all had no affect.

Any ideas?

Anyone near Columbus / Delaware Ohio who I could pay to go take a look at it and hopefully fix it?

Thanks for any help you can offer!!!

The annode on the flyback has a connection mid way to the picture tube.

Make sure the tube is discharged b4 your folks go digging for it though. It hurts much.

Yeah, he said he touched that and it popped out of the connector. I told him to turn the game off and slide it back in there as far as it would go.

If that thing is loose in there, what does one do? It's just held in with friction, isn't it?

Thanks,
John

Sort of....The diode has leads on each end. The leads make kinda of an "L" or hook. This "L" slides through a spring stuffed inside the "connector".

When it came apart, he could have lost the spring. Without the spring, you might not get a connection....without a connection, no high voltage....without high voltage, no picture.

When it's just a little loose, you get blooming.
