Space Invaders (Midway) CPU board 72 pin connector query
Regarding the 2 x 72 way pin connector on a Midway Space Invaders CPU board (which the sound board plugs into) - can anyone recommend a suitable replacement for this connector please?
I have one which I ordered from Digikey:
https://www.digikey.co.uk/product-detail/en/edac-inc/307-072-524-202/151-1274-ND/1292346
but the row spacing is a little too wide - on the original connector it's 4 millimetres, yet on the above connector it's 5 millimetres - I can bend in the pins a little and get them to go into the holes but the connector is then a little too high which means that the two triangular metal support brackets won't line up correctly with the screw holes as the sound bound is a little too high.
Any ideas on a suitable connector please?
Thanks
