Hey guys - have an issue with my Midway Space Invaders Upright. It actually seems to be working now, but sometimes it loads up with the below. I am thinking either ram or CPU error. I have looked online and in the manual (at least the one I could find) and see no way of testing the ram. I am placing an order for other things anyway so I figured I would go ahead and order some RAM just in case. I can't, however, find out which ram it takes. My online search showed TMS2716, but I don't see TMS2716 on any of the chips that are on the board?

Any thoughts or issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks as always Darren. I'll see if I can find someone to burn the file for me to an EPROM. The other issue I have is that frankly, there are no real instructions on how to use it to test. If the TMS2716 is an EPROM, then what is the RAM? Several of the posts online seen to indicate SI might have problem with RAM, but then don't really indicate what that RAM is. Thanks again for your patience! I'm reading as quick as I can, but this stuff is definitely complex.

There are some instructions in a txt file and a PDF RAM location map in the zip file on that page.

I'm no expert on SI, but I think they had 2107 RAM. Not certain if it was all 2107, or if there was another type on there.
