Ok, thanks to your replys, and my phone constantly dinging at me that I have email notifications, I decided to go play with it. i put the legs on, drilled the locks, and began inspection. Sure enough, one coil is taken off and in the coinbox( which is there, ill steal that for my restored Paragon, which doesnt have one), and the other burnt looking coil is unhooked, and the wire wingnuted. Reseated all plugs, buzzed out all fuses, visually checked what I could. And that exciting, nervous moment arrived.
so I plugged it in........
Nothing.
so I flipped the power switch.....
ducked down, fire extinguisher in hand.....
and
And
It powered up, coils reset, and it went into attract mode!!!!!!!
i watched for awhile, patting myself on the back, then
Added a credit, and started a game. Seems to be playing, but there is a switch stuck somewhere because the score is skyrocketing, and I know I wasnt playing that good. I lifted the playfield again, but dont see any obvious stuck switches. but Im happy
will havta do a switch test and figure that out, replace the two burnt coils(I think I have at least one that will work), and go shopping.
playfield has some wear, but so far looks to need stencil kit, legs repainted black, new rubbers, plastics flattened, new locks, new leg bolts, all new bulbs, new ball, and a serious clean and wax. It seems to be completely unhacked and original. Tilt mech is present and working as well, and all serial numbers match.
I think I will restore everything except the playfield will havta stay how it is, some wear spots, but should make a nice player machine
