Got a SI: deluxe that is playing blind. Fuses were blown on the monitor. Replaced them and monitor powers up but nothing on the screen. Just a white screen. Read another thread that mentioned replacing one of the 10uf caps near the vid/power cable. Did that with no change.

Another thread determined the problem was on the daughter card. I have also reseated the card a few times along will roms/cpu.

Any ideas?

When i was working on mine i hooked the game to my tv to verify video output.I just unplugged the connector from the monitor and hooked an old RCA cable to it.You need to use the two pins on the connector that come from the single shielded wire.Mine was black, then shielding with a white wire in the center.Center pin on RCA goes to the white and shielding to the outer.Plug it in and see if you get video output. At least then you will know if it is monitor or boardset.

Hey thanks for the tip. Hooked it up to a TV last night and the game was playing perfectly. So it is a monitor issue.

I imagine i should just start with a cap kit and then go from there.
