Hello
I'm looking for a motor control board for a Space Harrier deluxe machine.
Unfortunately mine got stolen by a guy from the UK (user mandccars), so now I have to acquire a replacement.
The guy in question contacted me a year ago and told me that his motor control board broke down, but he desperately needs his machine for an upcoming exhibition, and the person who normally repairs his stuff in not available for several weeks because he is on a business trip.
So I agreed to lend him my board for that event. Actually I send him 2 boards, a working one and a broken one, because he promised me that his electronic expert would take a look at my broken board in exchange for lending him my working one.
But after one year of begging and even agreeing to pay the amount of ransom he was asking to return my stuff, I haven't received anything back.
He just terminated our communication and disappeared off the face of the earth.
I'm not a collector, I just own two Space Harrier deluxe machines (and a Thunder Blade), because is was my lifelong dream to own such a machine from the very moment I sat in one back in the 80s. But unfortunately, now neither of the two is working anymore because of the missing motor control boards.
If a replacement motor control board is not available (and I know that this is one of the rarest things in existence and probably impossible to find), would it be possible at all to build one from scratch if you had the schematics? And if so, does anyone have the schematics?
It would be a shame if another one of the few surviving machines would be inoperable forever ...
I know it was stupid of me to trust anybody, but he even had a page describing the restoration of his machine, so I thought I would help out a fellow enthusiast.
