Any idea what a Space Harrier controller sells for these days. I think I spent a couple hundred piecing it together, but no idea what it is worth now. It doesn't have the original boot. I found one from a car that works on it pretty well.

Bumping this since no one replied.I am curious about this as well.I am in the market to buy one and have no idea what a good offer would be.I know it's not going to be cheap but if anyone has an opinion on price would love to hear it as well.

Extremely rare piece, you hardly ever see parts pop up for Space Harrier. My guess for it would be $500-$700.

How bad do you want it?

That's how much it's worth.

How much do you have in it?

That's how much you market for.

Supply meet demand. If supply is greater than demand, the price is lower.
If demand is higher than supply, the price is higher.

With all that said:
How many people need one?
What will they pay for one?

Post it for sale and find out.

Typically, for a yoke and joystick, I'd say $300 to $500 for both together.

Thanks for the input Mike and GW.I knew it was not going to be cheap or easy but I gotta try, it's the last piece I need and it's a major grail for me.Sorry to Paul wasnt trying to hijack this but no use making a new thread when you had a great question and this wasnt too old.

No problem, considering the game doesn't come up for sale often either and sells anywhere from $2K-$3K I'm just guessing what the joystick would cost. Not like you can put a wico in it, its unique to the game.

Looking at this, the boot at the base looks like a shifter boot for a mid-70's / early 80's car of Japanese production. So when it comes to odd parts, think "what does that look like."

A lot of arcade parts come from other industries.

For example, an expansion bellows like this could be part of the pressurization system of a pressurized aircraft for a movable part, say a nose wheel steering rod or landing gear extension / retraction rod.

Or a shifter boot like this one from JEGS which looks like it could work.

A complete one sold on EBay last year for $1500 it was just the controller and the plastic dashboard.

I know Ebay prices can be crazy but that might be the only place to find one.
