I've seen the upright in the convert a cab, but never seen a cocktail version. I have a friend with a chance at one of these but pics are slow in coming. Anyone have a picture of one? Worth grabbing in CT form?

super rare in CT form.. the cpos look just like the upright. I'd grab it in a second!

a guy not far from me has one in his garage collecting dust... I was planning on snagging it although I have little interest in a cocktail version of it... its just a cool game

Uncommon but not rare. I had one several years back but I'm just not a cocktail fan. Might have had a pic but can't seem to find any on my HD. It looks like other Sega cocktails from that era like Pengo. I think it had a different power supply but otherwise the same electronics as the UR. Grab it if you can get it cheap, ie $100 - $150. Here's a Pengo CT pic:

I picked up a near mint Space Fury cocktail 4-5 months ago. The coin meter only has 4000 plays on it. The screen has absolutely no burn and it plays perfect. I'm a big fan of cocktails myself, I'd say buy a SF cocktail in almost any condition, it is a fun game to play in cocktail. Hans and mrbill08 got to see it the day I got it when they were down visiting. I got mine off of Craiglist, was supposed to be an Asteroids, I was stunned to see what it was. It had been listed repeatedly on the Charlottesville, Va CL and nobody went for it. I had never seen or heard of a ct version either till i got this one.

Space Fury is a great game you should get it. I just got my upright going and I love it.I will post some pictures in the next day or two.....Later....Dave
