If you can find new side art let me know, I would like to do mine.

My Space Duel presently has wood grain sides.

goodluck with your space duel, i just got one a few weeks ago and am currently trying to get the screen in good working order, my side art is ok the edges where it meets the tmolding needs to e bondo, sanded and painted but other than that its in good shape

The artwork on mine is peeeling up in two small spots but other than the paint dammage its in great shape. Its going to take me a lot of effort and lots of goo remover to cut through the paint on this one. with white side art you clean off the paint and the damn black paint just smears and dirtys the wite you just cleaned lol. I have 4 rolls of shop towels and im going to scrub my ass off and see what I can do once I get more goo remover.

Inside the cabinet was a 1 slot pcb and wiring as well as they drilled out the original space duel cp and hacked it all to shot. i have all the parts for it now i just need a marquee thats not flaking as mine as a tad of flaking. anyhow I will start more work this saturday and get tons more done. i got lucky and found a monitor laying around a vending warehouse 45 minutes from my house so i snatched it up. its untested but looks clean and is burn free. I have the original wiring harness and im going to start there when the paint and body is done lol! I am goin to change the molding color too when I get around to that. will post more pics later!

good find on a burn free vector monitor, i still have to order a cap kit and flyback for mine and hope to the arcade gods that it will fix the problems im having

Finished what i could on the side art paint removal. heres 90% its not going to get much better. I stripped paint off of the front panel and im going to repaint that and replace the coin door and then start re assembly after I get all of the inside cleaned out!
