was wondering what you all think i could get for my space duel, i dont have any pictures right now but will have some soon, but here it goes

the side art is in great shape except for some small dings and scratches

the marquee is in great shape

the monitor has been capped and everything, however the brightness is turned down as low as possible cause if you turn it up more than what its set too you will get lines on the screen that completely mess up the picture,

there is also a phosphor burn on the screen in the form of a good sized dot right in the middle, it also has some tempest burnin so im guess this monitor was in a tempest when it went bad and someone took the space duel monitor for the tempest

both coin mechs work though the coin doors need new locks and will need to be sanded and painted

the CP needs a new CPO which i have and will probably install before i sell it, it may need new buttons but i will leave that to whoever gets it next

im currently rebuilding and sanding/painting the power supply to make it new again

i have cleaned out and vacuumed the inside of the cab so it looks atleast a little bit clean

there is some swelling in the cab which can be seen by the piece of wood just above where the back door goes so that will need to be replace and there is no back door so it will need one of those aswell,

the bottom edge of the cab is crumbling so that will need to be addressed

if i think of or see anything else i will post it, if anyone has any questions feel free to ask them here, thanks for looking and thanks for helping get this thing working again :)

you will probably get more parting it out.. Maybe $400-$500. for a complete working space duel. Based on the sahpe your saying, maybe $400.

you could probably sell the monitor for $350(last one on ebay went for $659 probably why there are 2 up for sale now..)

i doubt i could get that much for the monitor with what its doing and the condition of the tube

i've seen several nice Space Duels sell locally for about $400, so for one with some cabinet damage and cosmetic issues, along with a monitor in need of repair or replacement you're looking at a couple hundred tops, and that only if you can find someone who wants to do the work. if you fix the damage and cosmetic issues, you're still looking at only a little more since it's probably unplayable with the monitor in that condition.

parting it might make you a little more but not much.

if you can repair the monitor as well i think you could price it at $450 and hope for $400.

It's playable the way it is it all works it's just that If you turn the brightness to high you get lines I don't know what causes that other than it must be on the hv or the flyback but either way it's playable

That is actually normal. When the brightness is turned up you will see trace lines. You might want to adjust the contrast as well to get the right brightness.

Bought one at SA a few months back for around $250, got it for the monitor to put in my Star Wars.

I paid $350 for mine in good shape, no water damage, WATW

Mine will stay a Space Duel too, cool game

Bought mine fully working for a little under $200, then had a very hard time selling it for $400. -ebay fees, - extra parts, I probably only made about a hundred profit. Not really worth it.

Id say yours is worth no more than $200.

I paid $30 for my first one playing blind and $150 for the second with a bad AVG chip, both were in great condition.
