Looks like my converter card is dead. It's in a Space Ace and for a G07 monitor. Was working great for a long while. I tested the signal going in and it is fine. Does not appear to be anything coming out of it. Any suggestions on how to diagnose what's wrong with it? There doesn't appear to be any scorching or broken connections. I'll prob start by replacing the couple caps on it and maybe the resistor that is cited in the schematics.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Does the converter have its own timing circuit? Crystal or oscilator?

Post a pic of the converter plz... I have one here in a box and maybe it's the same...

The Electrohome NTSC card (rectangular)is made for the G07, it requires 16 volts DC which is tapped off the monitor chassis. 12 volts DC is not enough to power it.
The Electrohome NTSC card is rectangular and the WG NTSC card is square.

Thanks for the input.

It's definitely the Electrohome and I ran the 16v off the monitor chassis from W403 based on the decoder docs. I'll test the actual voltage to be certain but it should be ok. The chassis is also newly rebuilt with the deluxe kit from bob.

Well, as always Im the problem here. Had the +16 connected to the wrong pin on the decoder board. Thankfully didnt fry anything. Working great now. Thanks for all the help.
