Hey Guys,
So back in the hobby now and restoring my dead games one by one. Finally got around to my dedicated Space Ace. Had a faulty LDV1000 player so I swapped in a WORKING LDP-1450 and the Hi-Tech Conversion card.
I've done this before so though it would be easy. On fire up the Hi-Tech card went through it's cycles but no glorious beeps that mean DL/SA's are getting ready to rock. And finally did get video but the player is stuck on pause at a Diagnostics screen. (See image)
While troubleshooting I did the below:
1. Checked my dipswitch settings to make sure B7 - Diagnotics mode was set of OFF (Normal)
2. Switched B0 to ensure it was sending to a Pioneer 7820 instead of the stock LDV-1000 (which I think the Hi-Tech card requires as shipped). Not sure if this is needed but did it anyway.
So I am stuck with the below screen. Any thoughts?
