... couldn't be happier. But now I have to move my DL machine to a better location in the room so I can swap the discs without having to move 2 other cabinets first.

Luckily my DL has the modified ROM board so I just have to put either disc in, flip a switch to DL or SA... and I'm off. Good times.

Not having many chances to play the game in the cabinet and mainly playing it on Daphne I'm ecstatic to have this disc, finally. I guess I have to start searching for another CP and marquee so I can fully swap the game over... but playing SA on a cabinet with all DL artwork is still just fine for now.

... cranked the volume a little and I can hear her playing from just about anywhere in the house. Good times.

Nothing major... just felt like saying I was happy to have this disc now.

Just wait till you get a SA dedicated cab... Keep Dragons Lair as is...

You are taunting me, being that close yet so far :) I have never even played a game of Space Ace. Congratulations on the game.

If you put the laserdisc player on top of the game, then swapping laserdiscs is easy. Extension cables are your friend. :)

It's harder to do with an LD-V1000, but not impossible. This works better on the conversion than the dedicated SA (less space). BUT he also has to flip a switch located on the rom board to change roms, unless he extends that to the coin door area.

I have a LaserCon Merlin Board and an LD-V8000 on my SA. The LDV-8000 uses a 9 pin serial connection, making it easier than the 15 pin connection.

LaserCon Merlin Board has an on screen display for rom selection, and defaults to the last selection. It's a great card.

The LaserCon Merlin Board is a player replacement board and a multiROM board in one! Merlin will allow you to replace your broken Laserdisc player with newer, faster one, and give you four ROM sets to choose from (2 for Dragon's Lair, and 2 for Space Ace). If you have both laserdiscs, you can play both games in one machine!

I also have the Merlin board and agree that it is a great card. I am running it in my DL with the LD-V4400.
