Problem is with Kenny.Sometimes when ball hits a target not kennys but a different target ,Kenny lites up and appears that you hit Kennys target but when in fact the ball is on the other side of playfield hitting another target or goes down a hole.I check for any broken wires and went into portholes and tech and said no problems on playfield.Any suggestions please.

Maladjusted leaf most likely. Take the glass off and pound on the table. If Kenny goes off you know it's a leaf switch that is adjusted too sensitive.

kenny is controlled by an opto,in front of the opto is a wire to protect the opto, maybe it has moved from the ball hitting it,also there is a micro switch in the subway ramp under the playfield,i would check that switch also

I'd check the opto boards for a cold solder joint as well. I have the same problem with mine, anytime the ball hits something on the playfied to cause a decent vibration it sets it off.

I searched around for an answer and the cold solder joint was a suggestion. I hope to dive into mine this weekend to check that out.

Kenny issue

I will take some time this Sunday and find out if it is any of the issues that everyone suggested thanks to all who gave me a reply on this thread.Thank you once again..

I assume there is a switch test option. If you go through it, does everything appear OK? Wondering if the other possibilities don't correct it, if there could be an issue in the switch matrix on the power driver board. If so, it should show up doing a switch test.

Kenny issue

Today I check out the under side of play field. Also the manual for blue prints.Seems like Kenny and targets are in paralell. The one target ,the wire was loose and I pushed it in.So far I turned it on and its working fine.Went in portals and went in tech and said play field is ok.Cant believe that a loose wire can cause such a problem.
