Now that i have a projector in the arcade its time i tackle this issue.

Ive been um, "obtaining" 80s music videos off of the net. The problem is that the quality is krap.

If there any good source out there for high res 80s music videos?

The KLOV'er that was selling

I didn't buy his set but someone I know has and I looked at it. I would rate most a VHS quality with lots of metal vids. I though it was cool as I have the Helix vids on LaserDisc that the versions on this set all the girls are topless. Same vids just topless.

I did however buy this set

This set has more "HITS" than the last set and comparing the videos that were the same head to head this set was better. Most vids were DVD or VHS quality. Some looked like they were LaserDisc promo rips.

Overall both are extremely good sets. I like a lot of the content better from the first set because I'm a metal fan but for me the second set feels more like what I saw on the wall of my local arcade. So I'm glad I decided to go with the second set for purchase.

I have about 80 hours or so of high quality videos from the 80s that I have recorded from VH1 Classics onto my DVR. I also have a DVD Recorder set top box to dump it to DVD, but just do not have the time to do it lately. I will be doing it "soon", but can not say how soon, as work keeps me pretty busy. Keep this thread alive, and I will let you know when I get it done..

If you mean music videos from youtube, you can do a google search for "keep it!" and it gives you 4-8 options for saving the video to your hard drive. I use it all the time. And it's free.

Damn, that "ioffer" link is the motherlode! Let me know what the quality is like when you receive it. I noticed that "Girls on Film" was on the list. I wonder if it is the edited version or the unrated one with all the naked chicks? Interesting...
