My 1982 Atari Gravitar came with replacement locks that don't really fit the game. The doors have about a 1/4" play in them when they are locked, telling me the lock barrels are too long. Does someone know a source for front door locks that are correct both in size and style? Atari called the lock part number 99-15067.

Thanks.

Thanks, Ken. Exactly right - the correct lock is the 5/8" with a straight cam (not the dogleg version).

Yup. And those appear to be tubular cam locks, not the normal "key" but more like a cylinder with a notch. Nintendo used those style locks on their coin doors too, I believe.

Actually no, not necessarily. Nintendo Takigen K6510 was a common lock on the back door of all Nintendo games so that they could all be serviced with the same key.

However, the coin doors were often outfitted with different locks and keys to keep operator's quarters safe. :)
