Looking for the tags that go around buttons on fighting games to mark their function. Specifically Soul Edge, but I think they are generic.

They are different colors and say Punch, Kick, Block, Guard, etc. I tried googling them but apparently google thinks anyone looking for button markers actually wants to see Japanese cartoon porn.

Thanks Dr. Zero. I have the templates from various games, here is a picture of what I'm looking for. They are more generic I think (these are pics from someones cab in the for sale section). I actually have a Soul Edge cabinet that I want to put these button markers on.

I think you need to pay a visit to the Madman arcade one day this week, and I'll dig some up :) I'm not 100% sure what I have but if anything I can also make color copies of what I DO have too. I think I have either MK or Street figher ones.

No hurry, but I'd love copies of them. Even just scanned images would be fine. They are going under a plexi overlay, so I could probably print them on photo paper and they would look great.

I have a jam packed week, starting tomorrow with flu shots! Aargh.

Is it a wierd layout or a street fighter? I think the street fighter may be all bunched together as one but layout.

You're in Bucks County, right?

Its for a Soul Edge. Layout is just like pic I linked, but the overlay is different. That is why I thought these were separate. I had actually seen them before swore at that point that I'd never own a fighting game so didn't pay much attention.

Well here I am with the Soul Edge and a Viruta Fighter waiting for me to pick it up. LOL.

EDIT: Yes, I'm in Bucks!

I have some of the plastic ones that went on the Pit Fighter control panel:

Those were the kind I remembered! They encircled the button. Do you know who made them and if they're still available?

Nope. I converted a PF for someone earlier this year, and kept the panel and markers...

OK, thanks for info though! I'm trying to simplify the game controls for people that don't know the games.
When family checked out my room, I got the vibe that I was the arcade attendant! LOL
