source for 6331 16 pin IC chips?

82S123 or 82S129, I have them.
As far as Mark Capps goes, I have no idea on his status at the moment. He can definitly be hit & miss.

Not sure. Manual and chip reads

6331 prom (32x8)
HRL14H-1
8151

Would either of yours work in place of of this chip? Or am I confused and asking for the incorrect part?

82S123 is a sub for that prom. If I recall correctly that part # you gave is a MMI number. N82S123 is an equal Signetics part. There are many others that will also work in its place. The signetics part is probably the most recognized number. I might even have the 6331 in stock but would have to check.

Now, do you have a way to program these and the file needed?

Good info to know.

Of course I don't have a way to program these. lol. I do have a working chip from a working board so assuming someone has the ability to copy the file from the original and program that to the new chip/chips then technically I do have the file.

Any chance if I were to send you the original prom you could copy and program the file to the new ones? For a price of course.

I have a programmer at the house right now that I borrowed to burn some proms. Its an old dinosaur and I know enough how to use it to dump the image off a prom and copy it. I couldnt figure out how to load an image directly from a file but in my case I didnt need to figure it out so thats as far as I got with it.
Im going to go ahead and bite the bullet and order the overpriced prom adapter for my burner in the next week or so.

I knew the 129 would work for one, just got them mixed up initially. James I have a similar prom cross ref table around somewhere but couldnt find it at the time.
Thanks for the info.
