does anyone have a wire diagram....seems something i wrong with mine all of a sudden and it wont let me puch start to play....pleae help!

I believe that both are common. HS5 one piece, Z-back Dynamo and 3KOAM, as well as the split side/two tone HS9.

If it's start and select that are gone, that's your JAMMA harness.

when i see that kind of cab the first thing that pops into my head is "capcom",id go with a stret fighter or other capcom fighter

It doesnt matter what games in it if i cant use the play button

So..? You credit the game up and neither player start button works? Are they hooked up? Did you try wiring a different/new switch/button to those wires? Did these buttons work when you got the machine then suddenly fail? Buttons suddenly not responding typically have gremlins at the switch/button /connection end rather than the harness itself. Best to check that end out first.

Check the start up screen to see if it is Soul Edge or Soul Edge Ver II.

Then check the info on the KLOV site for info on each version:

The first thing you should try is, unplug machine and reseat Jamma board edge connectors, and let us know if that resolves your problem.

sounds to me like you just lost a ground connection...( black wires daisy chained to each joystick cherry switch and each button cherry switch as well....) since u seem new to this also check to see that the switch hasnt just fallen out of the button itself....good luck..

im looking to sell this arcade i have just to many now and have no room for it. I just bought a new soul edge board that works great but the push play buton doesnt work now (wire loose)...ill let it go for $150.00 for the arcade and the board....anyone interested?
