Soul calibur kick harness, where do all of these wires go

Where do the wires off the kick harness go, i have no manual, its a conversion machine. 3 buttons per side already work from the jamma harness, where do the rest of the wires go from the kick harness, just seems like allot of wires for 1 more button per side. . .

I think there are actually 2 buttons per side that are included in that kick harness. I have a SC2 and there are 5 buttons total per side.

Klov shows 4 per side. . .it would be cool if it was 5 per side, since i already have 5 holes. ..

4 total buttons per side, in the case of Soul Calbur the only control panel buttons coming off that odd sized 48 pin connector/kick harness are the guard buttons for each player. With Soul Edge the ones coming off the kick harness are the kick buttons. Got the manual for each from http://tamdb.net/index.php?page=Manuals , in the case of soul calbur the "soul calibur" manual is there, it appears the "soul calibur operators" manual is not. Site's in french, but just click on manual you want, put the letter/number combo from the captcha in and hit the "telecharger" button, should start the download. The schematic scans suck horribly on those (seems to be the only SC manual out there, the other sites I downloaded from have the same one) but you can just make out which button is coming off the harness.

As to why only a couple buttons coming off 48 available pins, it was just the connector namco made for the sys 11 and 12 boards, so they would have plenty of pins available for other extra features for games in the future. Same thing with the midway t-unit boards, they didn't use all of the 15 available pins, but if you have enough space to engineer 15 pins instead of 12 into the board layout, might as well put in the extras in case you do something in the future with the platform that would result in coming up short with just 12.

Incidentally if you have extras of the namco kick harnesses I'm in the market for a couple.
