I LOVE THIS GAME TO DEATH.

The characters are crazy, the moves are insane, the combos are hilarious and the game is just plain epic.

So naturally, I want a dedicated cab eventually.

I saw one for sale here (that sold) for around 250, dedicated. On eBay crappy conversions are POSTED for anywhere from 750-4500.

So pretty much, I have no clue what would be a fair price to pay (or even where or if I'll ever find one).

Really? Huh, maybe they were just kits. All the ones I've played look like this (from another KLOV thread). Is that a different sort of cab? How much would you pay for a conversion, then?

I miss the one I sold!. i sold a kit in a+ condition for something like $450 2 years ago.

sc2

The pic u have is the one I scrapped and just sold the logic and control panel/ marquee etc.. The cabinet was just an old konami turtles cab.. They were mostly if not all kits.. I have a Soul Cal 1 in a 33 in cab I could selll for 300 bucks and then you could round up the Soul Cal 2 system( actually in a PS 2 in a box called a magic gate.....)

That's what I thought. Konami and Midway cabs got converted most of the time. I did see some 246 systems in the Tekken cabs which were really just Namco cabs (which I thought were cool). I paid $150 for a disk and dongle like two years ago.

The pic above was a pretty clean looking conversion though. I don't really like conversions but most JAMMA games were kit only or shipped in generic cabs (ex. SF2).

Thanks for the offer, but I'd rather get a cab with SCII already installed. I've found it hard to find the SCII kit, let alone at a good price. Also, thanks everyone else for your input, I'll try to find one around 3-400 I suppose. If you happen to find one at a steal you don't want, remember my name! :D

Thanks for the heads up... I found a ton of SCIIIs for sale around 500, but no SCIIs for sale in the entire Southeast T.T Oh well, I'll keep checking it, one of these days they'll get one...
