Hey guys..I just came across this EM for free. Any advice? Don't know if it works yet, just that the guy wanted it gone because it takes up too much space in his man cave.

I'll be getting it on saturday! Any advice on what things to check or look into maintenance first?

Nice score! These games are so much fun. I had Coney Island in my game room and there was always someone playing it. I just recently got another EM gun game, Rodeo

I picked up a Midway Sportsmen that had been in a flood last fall and made it into a winter project. I would take your time and make sure everything is lubed moving easily before powering it up, especially the moving targets, any chains, scoring reeling and so on. You don't something to bind up and break parts. That's my advice, I just picked up a Midway Sea Raider last weekend and this is my winter project,,

Have fun

So the hurricane delayed the game pick up until monday!

Finally got it!

Not yet. I need to look it over and lube up anything that needs it.

Remember that EM games are mostly lube free as it is metal on metal and any grease will actually just dry up over time. The only lube that is recommended is a slight smearing of contact disc grease on the rotating unit plates.

DO NOT(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) use WD40 for anything inside of this machine! It attracts dirt and things get gross really quickly, but on top of that, it is highly highly flammable in these machines even when dry! I have seen pictures of machines catching fire and burning half of the inside of the game, destroying all of it and luckily not the owner's home too. A whole lot of sparks from arcing contacts + WD40 = fire. Be careful!

Thanks for the advice! I was going to post up a question on what to use. I'm just worried about what the previous owner might have done. It did not come with a manual. Anyone out there have a manual for this game?

looks like you are missing the plastic for the shot counter at the top.. ive seen those warped, like almost melted from the heat of the bulbs behind it.. I changed mine to LEDs . I don't have my sniper I sold it to a fellow klover on here so mabey he can chime in and help you with pics of what I did to mine...

that white bulb and the one you are missing is suppose to be RED for the explosions

Ok. fired it up and only the tank goes back and forth. Lights do work.. No other targets move and no sounds. Is there a best way to get to the mechanics? Does the whole bottom assembly just pull out? I can re-cap the audio boards no problem.
