I have a Sonic Prospector that I purchased from someone. It worked great for quite a while, but now the "ball Kick" doesn't seem to have enough power to kick the ball out. You can hear and see the ball kick trying to kick the ball out for play, but it just doesnt have enough "kick" to get it out there. Other than that, the game is in incredible condition. Any ideas? The guy that I bought it from is no longer around here, so I cant ask him. thanks for any help. Pete

ok, Im back...lol After some research, I mispoke myself. Its the "out hole" not the ball kick as I earlier stated. I talked to a friend of mine, he said that the Out hole relay may be "weak".....not giving enough "juice" to kick the ball all the way out. It does kick the ball, but not hard enough. Does this sound possible? I lightly scuffed the contacts with an emery board, but is hasn't seemed to help. Also, it does sometimes kick it all the way out...seems like the more you play it (maybe the relay gets to warm, and becomes weak) the worse it gets. Would like to hear some suggestions if you would. Thank You Pete

More than likely the plunger in the coil is seizing up. You need to take it apart and clean it up and make sure it's moving freely inside the coil sleeve.

Thank You for the response. Would it be better to change the coil. I see them for sale for $7.43 Looks like a couple of wires soldered to it is all. Pete
