Sometimes you gotta improvise. (Red Baron Joystick)

Recently, I rebuilt a joystick for my Red Baron. It's been sitting around for years with a broken joystick as I tried to find the ever elusive parts to fix it. With trying to open a classic arcade in the next month, it became a priority again.
Most of it was salvageable, except for the bellows (obviously) and the spacer plate between the top and the housing. It was shattered and pieces were missing. With no real options of replacement within a price that was reasonable, for what is essentially a spacer, not having the skill or access to a 3-D printer, I did what I could and decided to make it out of wood With fantastic results. It fits really well and if I ever am able to find the real piece I can just swap it out.

The only thing I'm still missing is the dust shield which is easy to get. But at least now I have control again.

Most of them are like that. Those spacers are only being held together by the fact that they are in the stick, and will fall apart when disassembled.

Great job on the repro!

Still can't believe these parts haven't been reproduced. I knew someone was 3d printing some of them but nothing since beta testing that I've seen.

If someone sends me the part in question, I'd try to make a 3d printer file and post it publically for anyone that needs a download
