So I pickup a pacman cabera,
It's was cheap. It has issues.
-Broken cab with finger size hole in the front
-Red keeps going out on the screen break in the wire some place.
-Montior wiggles every once in a while (needs a cap kit)
-One of the leaf swtich is cracked (frist time I have seen a leaf swtich crack).
-Coin door has no lights
-coin counter is mounted in the wrong place.
-Mother board is a ms pac attack modified pac man mother board that doesn't work.
Now for the odd part.
I see a old swticher in this case. Someone tapped into the the AC power supply. The frist thing you think that this arcade was coverted to us a swtiching power supply. I see the ac coming in but the wires going out are cut. Where they go to I don't know. There are no loose wires in the pacman harness.
I swapped out the Ms pac attack with a working ms pacman. The game just plays fine. So I solder and heat shrink the wires back together and remove this odd switcher.
Someone has etched what the power terminals are. The AC was wired to AC in and -5 Volt side. Why? I don't know? You have to wonder who spends the time hand etch scribbling what the inputs and out are and than feeds power to AC and -5 volts side?
