Agreed, That is a great thing to do. . I clearly put in my ads. "I will not reply to email due to scammers." Also as mentioned Put "CASH ONLY" in your ad as well.
Something doesn't sit right with this email.

I tend to reply and tell them "IT'S A DEAL!" then give them the FBI Internet Crimes address in Utah.

You guys cannot seriously think that the OP was being serious? Really?
BTW, when scammers or lowballers contact me I always reply "Man, you are STEALING this from me!!! BUT ok, I need it gone, here is my address, phone number and name" and then I put in the details of a local prison here in MA. Dont usually hear back.

Dead giveaways that it's a scam is right in the text of the reply:
"Advert"
"Get back to me"
"Certified check"
Also look at the punctuation.
