I haven't installed one before. Is it just plug and play for a JAMMA harness, provided I have enough buttons on the CP?

i just got one yesterday mod, did yours come with the manual? straight plug and play jamma, buttons go from 1 down to 6 with 6 replacing a ground, make sure there isnt a ground in the spot where button 6 would be even if not using 6 buttons. I read that would make something not work. but yea plug and play, im loving mine so far

Which one did you get? The 300-1 or the 108-1? I should have snagged the 108-1 that was being sold here for $75 shipped a while back. It looks to run pretty good.

Hey Mod when you get it up and running would you care if I swung by to see it working. Been thinking about getting one but would like to see it in person before I spend the money.

I got the 108in1 and like I said, no complaints really. Realize its not gonna be perfect. I am a huge 2d fighter fan and thts why I got this. The shoot em ups run good, marvel vs capcom isnt perfect but close enough for me to not hate it, street fighter alpha 1,2,3 run pretty damn good, some fireballs flicker in and out. I must say all the Neo Geo games are amazing, they run the best. Aero fighters 2 has been my favorite as well as 2020super baseball and king of fighters, flawless to me. Also had ghosts and goblins which i didnt know cause its the jap version (title in jap), its a lot of fun, not really any repeats except some king of fighters. I think it has 2002, then 2002plus and 2002magic. Also has some puzzle games, puzzlebobble 1 and 2, pang, and a game like zuma. Magicial drop is fun as well.

Only reason I didn't get the other one is because I heard that there is a drop in frame rate compared to the originals. This would seriously bother me in fighting games.

which did you get?? and as far as a drop in frame rate, I would say yes but not something im complaining about. It isnt going to be perfect since theres 108 games running off this tiny board. Its smaller than the size of a wii.. It looks like a neo geo cart lol. I played marvel vs capcom for a while today and its still playable, you will notice a difference if you play the game every chance you get like me but it IS still playable. also NeoGeo games are flawless. im really surprised. The only drops I notice are in capcom games but the big ones, like the mvc and xmenvssf. not in cadillacs and dinos or anything of the sort.

I didn't get any of the Blue Elf carts. I was referring to the one that was previously for sale. I can understand the issues with the CPS2 games. Those games require some pretty fast hardware to run properly.

ah since you said "thats the reason I didnt get the other one", I thought that meant you bought a multiboard just not this one. and Yes cps2 requires a lot, which is probably why the cps2 multi board only runs 18 games

Anyone have a pic of one of these? I haven't actually seen a pic of the PCB. I assume it's just a PC running MAME?

quick google search you can see what it is.

The other side is just a standard jamma connector, It has its own service switch on the cart which is confusing when it says to access menu hold service switch. I was holding the one in the cab for the longest time lol. and yes its running mame I would think, has all the loading screens like mame does (liek the neo geo green screen) the ram/rom checks in capcoms.

Well, I haven't ordered on yet, but I can get a 308-in-1 for $128 + shipping, etc. We have a customer that wants us to put one in a MK2 cab for him (adding a 6th button above the middle button). I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have to rewire or repower the entire cabinet...

Thats all those things are. I thought they were more expensive than that. Maybe I do need to get one and have for my Street Fighter cab. Let me know before you order and maybe Ill have you add another one to your order....plus a few bucks for your trouble of course.

Ordering it through work, so I might not be able to do that, although I can always order it for you personally....

I dont know about the 3xx in 1's I hear mixed reviews since theres a lot more its trying to power and basically the same size cart.
