I went to an ops place yesterday. Pulled up and was too late for the mint Bump n' jump as it had had the top sawed off, gutted and then placed by the firepit to burn. I asked about the mint MACH3 I had seen a couple years prior which was "Those go for HUGE money on EBay" back then so I didn't even press on a price.. to be told it met the same fate as the Bump n' Jump a few weeks ago. Dunno why out of a couple hundred generic junk cabs all around that they would start with destroying the nice stuff first... Couple firefox cabs worth of guts on the floor.. they got burnt..
anyways.. I digress..

I found a few cool items like a Juno First marquee, as well as a Super Bagman marquee that I will be offering up. Couple Wild Western pcb sets..etc.. passed on a Dark Planet marquee as it was flaking but cool to know there had been one around back in the day.

But I did find a couple of other pcb's I had questions on.. Both don't work right now, but probably could be by swapping in some other mcr boards. One is a Wacko.. This one is pretty well just a standard MCR correct? Any value to it over say a Tron?

The other is a Kozmik Krooz'r boardset. The top sound pcb for sure has 'kozmik krooz'r' on it printed right on the pcb so I would guess that part at least is unique to the boardset. I was wondering on that boardset as well if there is much interest as the cab is so unique.. like finding the Dark Planet pcb there or a subroc 3d pcb.. unless you have the cab, the boardset isn't much good I would think?

I haven't really looked at my main pcb set or my backup set for kozmik krooz'r, but I am fairly certain (cdjump can confirm or deny) that KK, wacko, tron, (probably others) is little more than a rom swap.

wacko, and tron are the same, i've seen one of the kozmic kruizer sound boards as well- i didn't spend much time looking at it but i didn't see anything different from any of the others. I suspect that a regular ssio would work with just a rom swap. Not sure about the cpu. I don't know if its 2 or 3, but, for the most part, they're pretty well interchangeable, as long as they're either mcr 2 or mcr 3. Journey and Spy Hunter are both oddballs in the cpu department, but besides those, they're pretty well all similar.

If he still has the mach 3 laser player snag it. Lots of people including myself could use it. It sucks he trashed nice games. :(

on an oddball tangent, you guys gotta quit butchering the spelling of kozmik krooz'r.

I'm taking it personal. :)
