When I brought this game home, I found out within a few min of troubleshooting that the flyback's blown. I also didn't hear anything playing blind in the speakers.

Upon looking in the back, there is a small connector (guessing 9-pin from memory) that is going towards a silver cage-box thing which I am guessing is where the PCB is.

My question is this: 2 of the wires in the 9-pin connector are burned and need to be repaired. Is it logical to conclude that the 9-pin connector at that location would be supplying power to the PCB? This is my first time working on this particular game so it's not like looking in the back of a Ms. Pac :D

I hope to have some pics of all of the above in the coming days, and I've ordered the repair kit for the monitor so, hopefully I'll have an update soon. All of the graphics screenshots I've seen on the Web for this game look simply......... uh...... WILD!

In going through some search posts, I learned that brother FIBONACCI went through and replaced all of the original connectors in a Lucky and Wild that he had worked on. I'm wondering if that game had connector issues like it looks like mine had? (rhetorical question)
