Some "Grail" Material Coming Soon to ChaseTheChuckwagon.com

Pages seem to work for me, but I use Firefox 3 and NoScript, so that even non-responsive ad servers don't stop my pages from loading.

Wow..those prices are so far up there, I don't even feel safe to make an offer. I wish him the best of luck.

I think the site owner had something to say...
POISONING/PRICE POLICE: Sellers may ask any price they want for their merchandise and should not be criticized for their choices. It is each user's responsibility to research the fair market price for an item. Pricing is a highly subjective matter affected my many factors and thus it would be practically impossible for forum moderators and the users of the system to all agree on when a price critique is not longer valid and becomes 'thread poisoning.' Additionally, differences in price and in price volatility are normal due to economic conditions, changing demand, region of the country, item condition, nature of the seller (ie: hobbiest vs. dealer), eagerness of the seller and buyer, warranty or lack thereof, and scarcity of an item. Do not post Craigslist, eBay, or web pages links in response to For Sale listings. An exception to this rule is if a Seller writes something like "this item usually sells for $1800 on eBay or the web". In this case, they have opened the door to any relevant responses, as long as they didn't say that THEY were the ones that usually sell it for $1800.

Has there been a sale of a Death Race within the past few years?

I was surprised at the price (not because the seller isn't entitled to ask for $5K), because I didn't know that it went for that much.

I tried to find out some info to compare it with, but couldn't find a recent sale.

Is this what I should expect to pay if I wanted a Death Race? (Is this the ball park?)

Thanks,
Steve

Whatever happened to the Space Race??
Was it the one in the picture, (P-1)??
Jeff

No, it was like this one on KLOV.

I have a member who is getting ready to list some pretty nice games. Here is what he is telling me so far:

_________________________________________________________________

1. Original Atari Pong (really nice cabinet, with original TV inside; works great;
missing one brushed metal knob)

2. Atari Space Race

3. Computer Space (I have all 4 colored versions, including the rare yellow one
[less than 1800 made I was told], 4-player green, red and blue; all cabinets are
nice; as I recall 2 work and 2 don't)

7. Dragon's Lair

8. Death Race

9. Radar Scope cockpit

I have some other vintage B&W games also, as well as Caveman pinball and a few others.

He is in the process of testing them and photo shooting. I will post here when the auctions are live.
