So, I'm relatively new to the Polo world. I was part of the MTC 9110 crowd, and I loved that chassis. Anyway, I have a newly rebuilt Polo 25-in. All the basics have been done: caps, FB, solder, etc. The sync is good, and I can adjust all the colors, contrast, brightness, etc., but some colors still look off. Some look neon, while other areas, like faces, have dark spots. I cannot adjust it out.
The voltage to the board is about 93 volts. I even degaussed to see if that could do anything.
By the way, I tried three different game boards, and they all have the same issue. I believe that all the wires are where they should be, and as mentioned earlier, I can adjust all pots. However, I am at a loss as to where to look/check next. I figure a good night's rest and maybe some suggestions can help😊

Did you put the Polo in a cab that previously had an MTC9110? Because R and B on the video input connector are swapped on the Polo.

That's a strange one, it really looks like brightness is being shot to 0 for any areas that are supposed to be bright. My guess would actually be an issue with video ground from the board to the monitor.

Yes it used to have a MTC 9110. But I thought I put the pins in the new molex connector properly. Maybe I didn't I want to have to quadruple check it again. Like I say I'm out of ideas. If it's just a simple pin misplacement I'll be the happiest camper on the planet! :)

Yeah I'll go back and test the ground here but everything looks as it should and looks square. I just can't think of what the heck is going on here or maybe it's a combination of things I don't know. It's always good to go back to the basics and check everything but I've been doing that. Just going to be one of those things that I'm going to have to stumble upon and when I do I'm going to post it

When are the grounding wires even though it was connected wasn't actually making contact with anything to ground which was setting this off. Funny enough or sad enough it was a simple thing. But I knew it would be something stupid and simple
