*** SOLVED! *** Coin door light issue

Also agree with @Onji that you need to check the ground in each socket to a ground in the cabinet, NOT to the other socket.

This is screaming pinched or cracked conductors in the ground to me.

The following is done with the game unplugged from power.

When you are checking the ohms to the ground strip in the cabinet, move the door from open to closed and see if they change. If they do, you have a problem with your ground wire.

If the ohms don't change, repeat this with the 5 volt power wire. Move the door from open to closed, see if the resistance changes.

Yeah, you may have to overextend (bend) the 2 tabs in the socket together so it'll grab the bulb better. Best do that with the game off.
Yeah I took the housing out, and have been messing with them all morning...but to no success. Now my MK1 soundboard just stopped working. Tested in the menu and it says Sound IQ is functional, but I get nothing at all. Not even the "bong." This hasn't been a very good day so far. 🙄😆😆

I'll have to test all this when I get back home...I'm leaving for a couple days for work. I'll report back to you guys in a few days. Thanks everyone. (P.S. The bulbs worked, then stopped with the coin door OPEN...never shut the door for any reason.)

**UPDATE**
I ordered 2 new bulb housing, and everything is working perfectly again! Thanks for all your help everyone! 😁

Where did you order them from? I'm having intermittent issues now with the LEDs lighting on my Spy Hunter for the weapons and I suspect it might be the same issue with a wedge housing.

our Weapons Van button doesn't light up like it should lol

also if you have a mix of LED and incandescent (like in the bezel lights) you'll really confuse the LEDs!
