-=SOLVED/CLOSED=- What size Compact Flash for Killer Instinct 2?

Most of the resources I have checked online says that you need a 512mb compact flash card to write the CHD for Killer Instinct 2. But when I do it, chdman.exe gives me and error to saying there isn't enough space. My only other CF card is a 16gb card and works fine to replace the HDD (after burning a new boot rom). Seems like a waste though.

What size CF card should I be using? Anyone successfully use a 512mb card? Is there a different command I should be using than:

chdman extracthd -i kinst2.chd -o \\.\PHYSICALDRIVE<insert drive number> -f

???

Nevermind. So indeed a 512mb compact flash card is enough to use for Killer Instinct 2's boot drive. Apparently, whatever image was on there before left a small system reserve partition that normal tools would not overwrite. It is just a matter of removing that system reserve partition. I accomplished this with DISKPART in DOS/commaned prompt. Instructions can be found here.

Be sure to only go up through step 6. Do not format the drive, leave it unallocated. From there you will be able to execute the chdman command posted in OP without problem.
