So my sfii was working ok, and I took the underside ramps out to clean them. After reassembly, the left stargate is now flipping out and activating itself once a second, also, the blanka kick out hole is firing with it.

When I start a game i launch the ball and it sits in the blanka hole undetected, then it kicks out (i think ball seek kicks in) but once the ball leaves the blanka hole it starts firing about 3 times a second and gives me credit for the blanka switch like instantly.

No idea where to start looking, it's like the solenoid are just firing themselves and don't care about the switch in the blanka hole

Any advice is appreciated

Ran through a switch test and found 2 of the center (extra ball) targe switches were stuck closed. Disconnected them and the game started working great again.

I am looking to replace the switches but they are some weird piezo type thing that was engineered so well it sucks

You are correct about it being well engineered.

They are available from various Pinball parts retailers such as The Pinball Resource.

It can also be replace it with a typical "standard" switch (one with mechanical contracts).

:D. Got 2 New pezio switches and put them in and everything works great. Previous owner had soldered some magnet wire to the switches to "turn them into" leaf switches. It didn't work :( and actually confused the hell out of the game. So, i wouldn't recommend doing that :D
