soldering iron question

I have one of those at work--it's a good iron. I also have the (cheaper) model without the digital display at home, which also works well.

I have that one. You might be able to find a little better price but that is still not bad.

I have been happy with it. May want to pick up a few more tips.

Hakko 936 is a workhorse. Although I bought the Weller instead because it was on sale. :p I really like it. Also the Hakko's don't have the digital readout.

the original iron you asked about is the one jrok told me to buy as well.
I just haven't got around to it yet.

I will be getting one of them.

I ordered one of these about a month ago... However, there was a "used" one for $69.99... So I e-mailed then called the amazon retailer selling it. Turned out it was a return which was used 1-2 times so they need to sell it as "used" or "open boxed return". Best $70 I spent in a long time!!! This thing looks and works brand new and would of been worth the $112-$120+ they usually charge!
