FS Game: Sold please delete

What is the matter with leaving up your post with the price sold? It helps other members and gives a history or pricing. Trying to delete it after the fact is just selfish.

I did not leave the post up with the price sold to prevent other members from needlessly clicking on the thread and thinking that the machine is still available for sale when it is not, resulting in a waste of their time. But,what was I thinking being so "selfish"?? I shouldn't care about wasting people's time I guess?? Sorry, I don't operate that way. If members want a history or pricing they can go to Ebay or pinside just fine, just as they have done for the past 20+ years. Also FYI, the machine sold for a price different than what I had posted here so truly it is moot. I deleted it just as I have done every single one of my ads here for the past 10 years. In that entire time no one here has ever expressed an issue with that including the moderators, except for you.

Probably the same thing that is wrong with MOST of society. While I understand the sentiment (I too would like to be able to see what stuff has sold for in the past), there are MUCH nicer ways to say it. People need to think a little more about how their message is going to come across before they just start typing. People need to check their "Internet Muscles" and try being a little more pleasant to one another...it goes a long way.

Since it's was his shit he can do whatever he wants to do. What the hell is wrong with some of you?

For what it's worth, my 2 cents wasn't as much about this sale, but more a comment on the growing trend of rudeness on the forum (and Internet in general). :)

Christ everyone calm down...it's here.

I know because I was interested in it, but unfortunately the price on here was a little higher than I was looking to spend at the time. I later found it on pinside only to be sold.

Obama did it.

I agree with the sentiment of leaving stuff up. There is a SOLD tag so people don't "needlessly" click on it. However, if said SOLD tag was on it they could maybe research a reasonable number to offer someone or better yet have a better idea what to ask of something, rather than all the FS threads with MMAO's in them.

You know as well as everybody else there's collector pricing and there's ebay pricing in this hobby.

OH NO U DIDN'T. I'm going to delete all of mine now! damn you!

(except for this one, unless you acknowledge it, then maybe i'll delete it)

There are leaders. And there are followers.
And then there are those that have no internet etiquette. LOL (maybe that's us). :)

BTW, the "Sold and Delete" stuff doesn't make any sense ... anyway, time to move on ...
