I have this old set of plastics that has been laying around for years. It's not complete. I think it has 21 pieces where I believe the entire set has 25 or something like that. I'm just clearing some stuff out. Any ideas what I should ask for a partial set like this? I've never been a pin guy. I should have probably included this when I sold the machine....

I believe new sets from CPR are something like $150... so I'd say a partial used set is less than that. If your set is missing the most commonly broken pieces, then maybe a lot less.

I've got a couple of sealed CPR sets (for different games) I listed on pinside a while back for 100 each... no bites whatsoever.

I think pinball people are mostly just buying new repro parts now, and not even fooling with used.

These look to be new. But since they are missing pieces that is where I don't know how much to ask. I don't like dealing with eBay since they basically take half in fees. I'd rather give someone a deal than pay eBay half.

I feel you there. I'll probably list my full sets here at some point for $75 each... half off seems fair.

Still might be a wait until somebody happens to need them.

Ask $50 and get them gone quickly.
Non complete sets don't make sense to buy when repro's are $150 new for the entire set.

While i'm not the biggest ebay fan, they don't take anywhere near 50% as you suggest, more like 10-15%.

That is totally fair. I haven't sold on eBay in a long time. I was really thinking back to when you had to pay separate eBay fees + Paypal fees + taxes + deal with the fact that eBay always sides with the buyers who often screw you over and it feels like you end up only making 50% of the money.

But even then I know I was making a rather extreme exaggeration. ;)
