I totally missed this one while working on my lawn sprinklers(!). Someone got a deal. Anyone from here?

If I had seen it then it would be mine. :)

Sorry fellas, it was me! The guy was a real nice guy. It came with a total of 8 carts.

Metal slug 1
Metal slug 3 (which I found to be a bootleg, but no big deal)
Fatal Fury
Samurai Shodown 1
World Heroes 1
Super Sidekicks 2
Aero Fighters 2
Puzzle Bobble

It's a Japanese 4 slot board, and I'm in the process of cleaning up the carts, which is how I found that MS3 was a bootleg. I cleaned up the slots on the board as well, but for some reason the select button isn't changing games, but it works when I plug my 2 slot into it. *shrug*

It's a VERY nice cab. Screen is perfect, no burn-in at all, and the cab itself has very little damage, maybe a scratch here and there but nothing substantial. It's VERY clean too.
He couldn't find the keys to it, like someone mentioned. I had to bore out the PCB door lock to open it up and find all the goodies. I still haven't opened the coin door, it'd be nice if there was some extra stuff in there too, lol. (maybe some yen!?)

I saw it about 30 minutes after it showed up on Craigs and jumped on it. I thought he already sold it because it took him about a day to get back to me. He said there were some other guys (probably you fellas!) wanting it but I guess I was first in line. I've had some really good luck in the last year with craigslist. I got a free Street Fighter 2 cab, a NeoGeo 2 slot MVS for $150 that Im in process of restoring, a Megalo410 (41" projection screen) cab that had horrible video which I repaired after some serious searching. The Meg I bought for $250, but it came with 3 PCBs, King of Fighters 2003 (non MVS version), Battle Circuit (CPS2) and Aliens Vs Predator (CPS2) which I sold and basically made the money back for the Megalo cab plus a bit more. I eventually sold that too.

Sorry to nab it from you guys that were wanting it.

Wow! That is a really amazing find. I didn't contact him until yesterday because the ad was still up and I thought that was odd.

This find should use up your "good find karma" for about a year or so at least. :)

Congrats on it.

ha, I hope you're wrong but you're probably right. I've had a good run, the well is probably about to run dry if it hasn't already.

Update: i got the MVS board up and running completely. I hadn't thought it might be a soft dip setting. Apparently you can turn off Game select until there's a quarter in it. Someone on Neo-Geo.com suggested trying that and sure enough... Seriously though, where's the fun in that?! I wanna browse before I play, lol. So now it's just a matter of getting SEVEN identical tube locks so I can have a simple key to open it.

These locks might work:

Look for 'lock' toward the bottom of the page.

How many of us are there in Round Rock/Austin?

I didn't realize there was "competition" in this area. ;)
