In Memoriam
My family is preparing for a likely upcoming move in the fall and so I am beginning the process of selling some of my cherished arcade collection. I am going to be starting by selling a few of my nicest cabinets which for some reason I just do not play as much as I should.
First up is an absolutely perfect 720 cabinet. I know people use terms such as "mint" or "like new out of the box" way too frequently. But, in this case, those terms definitely apply.
This unit was made for me by one of our Forum members who has a reputation for tending to the smallest of details during his cab builds/renovations. Although he is obviously very gifted at the process, he rarely sells any of the cabinets he restores or builds. He made an exception when he sold me this 720.
He used all the parts from on original 720, had them cleaned. re-built the joystick to perfection, re-powder coated all metal parts, painted and/or re-plated (which you almost never see - look at the brass looking brackets in the coin door) everything else. He also re-built and cleaned the monitor to be as perfect as possible. I think you get the point - this cabinet is cosmetically perfect and plays perfect as well.
I am asking $3,500 - OBO. The buyer must arrange and pay for shipping but I will wrap the unit with corner protectors and blankets so that it has maximum protection. My zip code if you want to get a shipping estimate is 48042.
The first person who sends me a PM (please do not make offers in the thread as they will not count) will be given the cabinet. Payment is by PayPal as a "Good or Service" (in other words, no gift payments - I will pay the PayPal fees to protect the buyer) and must be made within 24 hours of an agreement on the sale. Thanks for looking. The next couple posts will contain a series of pictures. Take care - D44
