I have a tales of the Crypt pinball machine. One of the flippers is soft, can barely get the ball up the ramps and sometimes dies altogether. If I sand the contacts it usually is better for a few minutes but fails again quickly. Do I need to replace the whole flipper assembly, or the contacts or what? Any suggestions? Also where's a good place to order parts from? Thanks

My favorite is pinball life for parts. The wizards will be able to help more with what the problem is. Probably a bad coil or EOS switch isn't working so its overheating.. Or something.

Possibly the end-of-stroke (E.O.S. ) switch is bad. Have the flipper assemblies been rebuilt lately? If not, then it would be a good idea to do so.

Nope, never rebuilt. Don't even know what to do. Is there a kit?

Yeah go grab the kit for your machine on pinball life and just replace everything. Flippers are so important I try to do this no matter what usually.
