Permanently Banned for excessive trolling.
I'm going to have to vacate my apartment due to foreclosure (landlord lost the place), and I don't want to move all of these machines to my new place. I need to thin out my collection a bit...sob! I hate this.
But, anyhow, let my loss be your games. At this time, I'm looking to trade ALL of this for one "special" machine in a LOCAL transaction. I'm not looking for a Zektor, but something you could say might be a legitimate fair trade, and don't be afraid to throw ideas at me. No individual machine selling at this time - I'm seeing if I can get rid of the whole shebang in one transaction. You swap your one game for the lot. I'll gladly send pictures for serious offers. The lot includes:
Donkey Kong - Tastefully restored machine, all art there. Looks great, good electronics, plays perfectly with controls that feel just right and worn in.
Frogger - This one is very original with a great monitor and great controls. Plays exactly as Frogger should; aesthetically pleasing. Full side art on both sides.
Asteroids - Original to a fault. The sort of machine that looks like nothing's ever been replaced. Plays well, but picture occasionally dims. Very solid & presentable cabinet. Gets a lot of action at my place.
Super Punch-Out!! - Restored cabinet, great looker. Just bought "Super" decals for it (not yet installed). Restored Super Punch-Out!! control panel with "duck" label. Game plays perfect but colors on top monitor are funny, and colors on lower monitor fading in and out - this MIGHT be a board issue, since the monitors were supposedly capped before I got the machine. Haven't had time to test, but also have working Punch-Out!! board to swap in and see (which will come with the machine).
Championship Sprint - Dedicated, sides painted black. Could probably use cap kit, dirty inside. If there's a beater in the bunch, it's this one - but it's not bad at all. Plays good, too. Could use tempered glass on front.
*If it'll sweeten the pot for a particularly good game, I'll throw in one of two Galaga cabarets I have. The one available in this trade is average cosmetically and has a spliced wire on the harness from the CP - but otherwise works plays very well.
Not interested in MAME/multis or anything newer than `84.
Thanks for looking!
