SoCal - Does anyone remember Pac-Man Arcade in Pasadena?

Back in the mid to late 80's I would drive for miles to go to this huge warehouse of arcade games on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena. Even when most of the arcades started to fail this one was going strong, and it had EVERYTHING. I spent so much time here, and I believe they closed at 2am.

Does anyone know any of the history behind this place?

Yep! I used to go there after work (Earthlink, back when they were still in Pasadena) with a few co-workers. One thing: the correct spelling of the name was Pak-Mann ;)

Didn't start going there until I moved to Pasadena in 1998, but near the end in 2002/2003 they were sometimes running 24 hours. Pasadena PD used to cruise by to check for drug usage and gang activity, but it was never a problem that I saw whenever we were there. Heard there were some issues from time to time, though.

The place had been divided up into three halls: newer stuff (mostly driving games) at the front, classic games off to the West side at the back, and pinball / shooting cabinets at the East rear and side. They had both Galaga and Donkey Kong in 50" cabinets at one point, and some really rare / non-US releases from time to time - that was the place where I first played Xevious 2: 3D/G and Elevator Action Returns.

Somewhere I still have a few of their tokens kicking around. If I can find them I'll post photos. Oh, and I believe that Gary Coleman was somehow involved with it early on, but don't know the specifics (or if that was just unfounded rumour).

Kinda miss that place - and Pinball Plus (both locations) that was over in Burbank.
