Went

Hi,

Just letting you know that this is the first super auction I have ever been to. It was in Lake Elsinore (think that is the auction that you are talking about) and it was a different experience. It seemed that there were a lot of buy backs and did not care for the false advertising. Advertisement stated that there would be 10+ pinball games and only had 3.

Cue-Ball Pinball (600)
Sopranos (1400) I think
Frankenstein (1200)

There was also a lot of redemption games and some of the games were huge racing games and exotics. I wish that I didn't go with my girlfriend. Couldn't get anything. Now I know why there are no women at that auction except for a select few.

I left after they went to the back room. A couple of good buys were Arcade Trilogy for 600 and I should have gotten Jurrasic Park Lost World for 200.

Word of advice. NEVER BRING A GIRLFRIEND TO AN EVENT LIKE THIS.

I went to the preview on Friday. Most of the games were from the Entertainment Center that it was held in (Trevi). In the back room, noted in a previous thread, there were some really bad cherry cabs that must have been brought in for the auction. Not a single classic. I didn't even see the multi games that they advertised. Even though I did not attend the auction, I would have to say that it was not typical. The games that I saw were all very large shooter and driver type games. Nothing that would fit in a normal home arcade. If you had a large route or a pizza place, this might have been the auction for you.
