So, why are all the Food Fights on the West Coast?

Just curious... Why are all the Food Fights only located on the West Coast. Was there an agreement between Atari and Midway that Food Fight wouldn't be shipped too far east in order to avoid a law suit for lost revenue for Burger Time?

Not really the case. I found a warehouse back in 99 in Winter Haven Florida with over 80 Food Fights. Use to have a pic, but that was long ago.

I think distribution was bad on them for sure. But a lot of the Food Fights I found at Lawson Music Company (In Winter Haven) were converted. I found tons of boards and several complete machines. Several of the Food Fights were converted to Crystal Castles, talk about fugly :(

Dear Lord, I'd love to see that! There's a few floating around here. None for sale. But I've personally seen 1 in Michigan and 1 in Ohio.

I've been collecting for about 6 years, and I've seen 4 here in New England (one of which is in my garage). Never even heard of it till I started coming here. I do also have a second FF, but it was converted long ago to a Double Dribble.

Same deal with Warlords cocktails, only know of 1 that a buddy owns. Even Funspot just has the 2 player upright version.

I personally had 2 that I've sold and seen 2 others pop up as Double Dragons with brown laminate on the sides

Always wanted a Food Fight. I will have one someday, would go great next to Burgertime :)
