I'm intrigued now, and I've never owned a slot machine before, but think it'd be a great amount of fun to toss into my game room. Also, where does one look if they're looking for something in particular?

I got mine from Slotmachinesusa.com,quick shipping and looks brand new.Their prices seem reasonable to me also.

Thanks! :) They have some things along the lines of what I want, but not specifically.

And do they think that putting uncomfortable looking young girls in front of the slots is really going to sell them any quicker?

There are a number of ways to buy a slot machine. Antique dealers on occasion have them. Slot machine dealers that may be in your area. An add in your local paper under wanted to buy. Then there's the Chicagoland Convention.

Not a good thread to read while half asleep. I was going to say in a shady area in the hood but then I thought why would he want to "buy" her don't people just usually rent them for a little while :)

State laws also prohibit the sale and distribution of slot machines especially that dispense coins or money! But I wouldn't see the big deal if it's for your game room.
If your looking for a slot machine, it's really who you know !!

Love it!

That could be interesting. I've found just one slot selling company that has what I want, and they didn't mention anything like this... I wonder if my plans are about to come to a screeching halt.

Oh I thought you were talking about 3-5 spinning mechanical slots.. Maybe a touch screen with actual coin dispensers and mechanical spinners. I have a buddy who is in the business. And I'm not talking about bubble gum machines :) I'm talking Vegas style slots ..
Pm me for more info..

Great vintage find ! Does it work ? What do you need to do to it ?
Are ya gonna do a complete restore? What time is it? Jk

Good find !!

Mostly working.

Needs a coat of Triple Thick on the bottom glass. Needs the head box glued back together. Need to find the bad fuseholder, broken wire, crappy plug, or dirty relay contact that has turned the lights off.

That will be enough restoring for this one.

One of these! Actually, either one.

I actually contacted maybe 15 sites, and one told me they have some, but have yet to tell me which one...

look up "eight liner" ,"8-liner" or "pot-o-gold" or "redemption slots" on craigs list or ebay they always have a few on
there in my area. its not illegal to own for personal use or even commercial
so long as you dont pay out anything. the nice thing is you can find boards
on ebay and places like that fairly affordable to switch out the games. If you
are handy just buy the board i believe they use jamma harness you can
build your own cab pretty easily.

the game boards range from dated/cheesy to pretty sophisticated

If you're looking for slots... I live in Reno and have access to both the reel type and touch screen type slot machines. I personally have a three reel IGT slot and I have a buddy that has four touch screen multigame slots he wants to sell. Let me know if you're still looking and we can see what we can work out.
