So what's your all time favorite, near and dear to your heart, greatest game of all??

whether you own it, want it, miss it, or have to have it, what game is your all time favorite and why?? for me it's Crystal Castles (suprise suprise!) I guess it's because it was the only game back in the day that i was good enough to actually draw a crowd! i don't know if i was really that good, or it just looked i was that good. most people in the arcades were blown away by the whole game (3-D perspective, game play, cabinet, art) i missed it when it started disappearing from arcades in the late eighties, and became a 'must have' when i started collecting and has become a bit of an obsession! what's your all time favorite?

Arch Rivals. It was the very first game I bought and I remember playing it back in the day. It was an awesome game. I even enjoyed renting it numerous times at a video store for the NES. I'd love to find a nice working dedicated game.

Space Invaders. THE most classic of all classics. The one and only. The master of all that is the ARCADE. If not for it, then none of us would be here.

the first game i can remember playing as a kid was kick man. i picked one up a few years ago and love the fact my kids dig playing it to. so its either a timeless classic or they are so young any game seems cool to them lol

It isn't an arcade game, but:

Chrono Trigger.

I bought a SNES and a tv set when my parents left on vacation for two weeks when I was 18. It was huge to sneak a TV into my bedroom, and I spent the whole two weeks playing that game straight.

As far as arcade games, it is Donkey Kong. I can still remember going to Cedar Point and playing donkey kong all day. I love my DK/DKII.
