So whats everone going to do on xmas after the dust settles from opening gifts?

Just a curiosity.
I have relocated this year from WI to SC and all the family is elsewhere. The kids just got done opening all the stuff, and now its all over. For another 364 days at least.
So I "prepped" myself in planning of boredom today. I stopped at lowes and picked up plasterboard, and lighting for the arcade. So I will stay occupied working on the arcade today. I have a couple cabs I can work on if I get sick of that as well. :)
So I was wondering - is anyone else going to spend time today on thier sickness.....I mean hobby as well? Or am I in this all alone today - LOL!

Consider yourself lucky Ive got two christmases under my belt with one more left tonight. Tired doesnt even begin to descibe how I feel and to top it all off I have to drive two hours away to hang out with my crazy mom.

I'm playing atari until 3 when the family, my girlfriend, and I go to our neighbors for a huge ass supper! I've got a Zaxxon cab to work on, but it probably wont get any attention today.

I wish I could spend the day working on the "arcade" but I am subject to the rat race that is called Christmas day.

Have a great day everyone

Merry Christmas

cooking Christmas dinner and dodging having to talk to my idiot son in law , bonus side my grandaughters will be here

I will be working on the "sickness" today. Probably will rebuild a G07 for my Centipede, work on my Chicago Coin Speedway EM game, cap a g05-802 and then we will go see that movie "The Road" later.

I'll be building lego sets, just like every year. one down already, three to go.

then it is time to remove toys from packaging, my snips are ready for all those damn twist ties and plastic rubber bands.

oh yeah, playing, eating, and other generally fun things.:D

and still watching A Christmas Story.

After 10 years of marriage we decided to pack up the kids and spend time with the inlaws in vegas. Sounds strange but I prefer my inlaws then my own family on holidays. Also first xmas I have not had to wrap one gift and I have 3 kids. Thanks to my wife.).

May try to sneak down to the mgm grand to play some poker tonight and also check out the newly opened aria @ citycenter

Today I will be enjoying my family, eating a huge feast, and I'll be thankful that we pulled off yet another magical Christmas (complete with Santa's gift) for our young daughter, nieces and nephews. Good times.

Oh, and I'll play some classic arcade games in celebration too.

Merry Christmas you guys (gals). And to Jon (Frizz), who's enjoying the first Christmas with his first born. Merry Christmas to you and the family!

Playing with my tired kids until nap time and eating and drinking way too much. Probably going to check out Sherlock Holmes tonight.

I will spending the day teaching my kid to use her new Nintendo DSi.

She's 6 and this is a borderline purchase since she's still learning to read.

She really wanted it.

The screen is pretty amazing on this thing. It's come a long way from the Game Boy.

Playing Atari 5200!! I haven't played it in a long time. As soon as this ice clears up, we're heading out to a party! They have old school Atari systems hooked up to diff. TV's in their basement!

Take the family to the hall of fame!

Enjoying some Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, relaxing with my GF Michele, and helping her son Zayne assemble Lego and Playmobil stuff. And of course, playing lots of arcade games!

We'll probably watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation a little later too...

Kyle

i promised the girlfriend i wouldn't touch or even mention arcade games for one day. It's absolutely killing me. I WAS programming in the robotron cutfiles, hope to have one assembled by sunday, check the accuracy, then cut and assemble 3 more.

I am at my mom's in east Cleveland, a good 1.7 hours from my games...

So eating and trying to talk my mom's new husband into buying a pin for the basement is all that's on the plate today.
