So what games would you pick up that you have absolutely no interest in

I was just curious as to what project games you would buy if the opportunity presented itself if the following conditions were met.
1. You have little to no play time on the machines.
2. And therefore, you currently have little to no interest in owning the title.
Heres the deal. I still know of a couple of semi local stashes about. One has a couple of neo classic titles that never really interested me, but are popular amongst other collectors. Like most of you guys, space is always at a premium. I thought your answers might be interesting as well as your why. Personally, I'd rather pick up a nice shooter but, I would also hate to leave a great modern classic out in the wild for it to get converted or junked. I'll post the titles after a few replies.

Just got a Satans Hollow with no intentions of ever owning one. Now I have no intentions of letting it go, its a good game. There are lots of classic games like that, that I would have no intentions of "seeking out", but sometimes the deals seek you out.

picked up a Wyverns Wing at the Superauction, didnt have any interest in it then and still dont. Bought it because (1) sold for $70, (2) beautifully sharp G07 monitor, (3) housed in a Gorf cabinet.

dont know what Ill do with the game, but Ill think of something for the monitor and cabinet:D

call me weird but I never had any desire to own a Defender. Then I got a Defender cab for free with the kick panel art still intact... Now I'm restoring the bloody thing... :)

I'm open to about anything if the price is right.I picked up a frogger in a time pilot cab just because the price was right for me.The kids play the hell out of the frogger,it has actually became my most played game in my small collection. So i went as far as picking up a frogger cab with nameplate and serial intact and am restoring it now.If it's gonna stay it's gotta be nice.No plans for the time pilot cab yet.
So if i can afford it,i'll buy it.You just never know,it may be the next big hit.

Wounder were you got that???

Ms Pacman. I absolutely suck as Ms P. But when one shows up cheap enough, I'll pick it up, fix it and sell it. It is one o fthe few games that will always move in this market.

Here are a couple games that I have never played (not even once), but if they came up for sale locally I would buy them just to give them a "test drive".

Black Widow - gorgeous cabinet and would be my only color vector. Plus, I have heard people say it is kinda like Robotron ... so that obviously kicks ass!

Pole Position 2 - lots of talk around here lately about Pole Position and Pole Position 2 has made we want one again. I have had several Pole Positions in the past, so I would like to give Pole Position 2 a try.

Any Laser Game - My new Dragon's Lair has me thinking that if anything came up locally, I would probably grab it. Dragon's Lair and Space Ace are the only two I have ever played.

Who am I kidding?

I would pretty much by anything if it was local and priced right!

I answered a craigslist ad for a PacMan, [$150, best condition PacMan I have seen in 20 years] It showed up with a Galaxian for an additional $75.

I never had the desire for either game, but the PacMan makes my Williams collection look like a small 1980's arcade. Beside, I needed a space filler. I traded the Galaxian for a Stargate upright.

OK, I haven't been by the place in a while. But IIRC, heres the neo classics that they had.
1. 720 (in non working order)
2. Paper Boy (I think, not sure if working or not)
3. Vindicators (working, but needing work & dedicated)
4. Gauntlet (I or II and non working)

That's a lot of Atari goodness that I have played very little of or not at all. Not sure if I should try to add them to the collection or not. Haven't really tried to pursue them, but the first couple seem pretty popular on this group. And I really don't have the space and have plenty of projects in the wings. The Vindicators seemed pretty big. It needs work but looks uber cool. So guys, whats the verdict. Bout out of space, but are any of those just must haves in a collection.

I'd jump on a Gauntlet cause I love the game, Paper Boy cause everyone else seems to want one so there must be something to it (never played it), and if the Vindicators is a big and cool as you say, well, why not... :)
